You'll have to excuse the minimalistic approach to a blog, but I'm starting over completely. I actually discovered I needed a new blog when Suzy posted Seven Things... and I tried to do the same, only to realize that I didn't have enough space on my current blog to post the whole thing. I'm not even sure why I have a blog, other than to keep alive the idealistic concept that Tami infected me with in High School that keeping a journal is good for your creative development, your pursuit of higher literary skills and the nurturing of your soul. (I'm not sure Tami actually ever said any of those things, but that's what I took from our conversations about journals.)
Anyway, here are my seven things:
Seven things to do before I die:
1. Grow old with Phillip.
2. Have children.
3. Have grandchildren.
4. Travel the world.
5. Spend quality time in Great Britian.
6. Write a play.
7. Finish a serious painting.
Seven things I cannot do:
1. So far...all of the above.
2. Multiply in my head.
3. Whistle.
4. Complete a crossword puzzle.
5. A back-handspring.
6. Take a "power-nap".
7. Tell myself there are things I will never be able to do.
Seven things that attracted me to Phillip:
1. His maturity.
2. His immaturity.
3. His laugh.
4. His capacity for friendship.
5. His insight into what I'm really thinking.
6. His appearance, of course.
7. His honesty and openness to me.
Seven things I say most often:
1. Unfortunately... "you know?"
2. "yeah"
3. "hey"
4. "frack" *sigh*
5. "I don't know"
6. Hopefully... "I love you"
7. "crap"
Seven books I love:
1. Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austin)
2. All of the Chronicles of Narnia (C.S. Lewis)
3. All of the Wheel of Time series (Robert Jordan)
4. Shirley (Charlotte Bronte)
5. The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (Anne Bronte)
6. Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte)
7. The Virgin Blue (Tracy Chevalier)
Seven movies I would watch over and over:
1. The Sound of Music
2. The Princess Bride (are my answers to close to Suzy's?!)
3. The Fisher King
4. Romancing the Stone
5. The Sound of Music
6. Labrynth
7. Dead Poet's Society
Seven people I want to join in too:
Oh no! I don't know anyone else with blogs!
